The player was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League during the January transfer window but a move did not materialise. Clubs like Brentford and Tottenham Hotspur were keen on signing the winger.

The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the finest young attacking prospects in European football and he could develop into a player for Chelsea with the right guidance. It is no secret that Chelsea need to bring in a quality wide player who will add pace, creativity and goals to the side.

Players like Raheem Sterling and Mykhailo Mudryk have not been able to perform at a high level consistently and Chelsea need to invest in a quality winger at the end of the season. Nusa certainly has the potential to thrive in the Premier League and he could transform Chelsea in the final third.

The reported €30 million asking price seems quite reasonable for a player of his potential and Nusa could easily justify the investment in the coming seasons.

Chelsea certainly have the financial muscle to get the deal done and it remains to be seen how the situation develops. They will need to improve their squad in order to get back into the Champions League and compete for major trophies once again.
