Chelsea preparing January deal to sign world class striker who knows where the net is | OneFootball

One major thing Chelsea have been lacking in the last couple of seasons is an out and out goalscoring striker.

They signed Nicolas Jackson in the summer and he looks to be a very good coup. But he is also young and will take some time to settle in and score freely. He also to me looks more like a striker who will benefit by playing alongside another more central striker and he might be much better drifting wide and coming in off the flanks.

Chelsea need another striker for me, and they are being linked with a few names already for a potential January move.

They were obviously going to be linked with Victor Osimhen with the problems he is facing from his own club Napoli right now.

The Daily Mirror are the latest publication to link Chelsea to Osimhen. They are reporting that Chelsea are finally optimistic they will net a credible fee for Romelu Lukaku next summer as they prepare to explore a January deal for Victor Osimhen.
