Chelsea are pondering a move for Brighton centre-back Lewis Dunk, according to reports.
Frank Lampard wants to reinvigorate his defence this summer after they conceded an astonishing 54 goals in the Premier League.
And Football Insider says Lampard is considering 28-year-old Dunk.
The Englishman has attracted interest from Arsenal and Leicester City in the past, having played well for Albion in their past three seasons in the Premier League.
The move might come as a surprise given Dunk has spent his entire career with Brighton.
However, the fact he has started 110 out of their 114 Premier League matches over the past three seasons proves his reliability as a solid top-flight centre-back.
It is reported that the Seagulls stalwart would be available for £30m, which could help the Blues as they have already spent big on Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.
