A Chelsea player is now showing fine captaincy traits as he admits to helping some of the club’s new signings this week.
Blues boss Enzo Maresca has already given his thoughts about new signings Liam Delap, Dario Essugo, and Mamadou Sarr who all join his squad out in America for the Club World Cup this summer.
And it looks like Chelsea are still trying to add another new defender to the ranks as well, with an apparent offer being rejected for a Serie A star this week and other such links that have come up in recent weeks.
There will be plenty more incomings and outgoings at Chelsea during the long summer transfer window that will reopen tomorrow morning on the day Chelsea play their first Club World Cup game of the tournament that kicked off in the early hours of Sunday morning.
I’ve actually noticed it in recent games towards the end of the season actually. Moises Caicedo is growing as a leader in this Chelsea team.

We have lacked leaders in this team for a little while now, so we need more players to step up in this way and show captaincy tenancies
The midfielder has just done an interview with the Chelsea website.
‘I always try to help the new players in the squad,’ said Caicedo. ‘Mamadou has the French players, of course. Andrey is close to me and I can help him, Dario also as he speaks Spanish.
‘I try to help them in any way I can, but I also try to show them. I want to show them every day on the pitch what I do, how I train, how I am as a professional.
‘So I am happy they are all here, they are all great talents and they will all help us.’
