Chelsea player is “top of the list” for Barcelona | OneFootball

We’re hearing more and more about a potential Marcos Alonso move to Barcelona, with some of the top sources now pushing it hard.

Once Fabrizio Romano is claiming something you can be fairly sure it’s coming from a source close to the deal, and in this case it could be from Alonso’s camp or from Barcelona as they try to prepare the ground for a summer move.

Apparently the left back is “top of the list” for the Blaugrana, and is kene to return to Spain.

If it’s true that they’re interested and they’re willing to offer a good deal, it’s a bit of a no brainer for Chelsea. They have Ben Chilwell returning from injury as their first choice left back next season, and Thomas Tuchel doesn’t seem to be a huge fan of Alonso – he took him off at half time yesterday for example.

This could be the summer he actually goes.
