Some Chelsea players managed to earn their wages more than others last night in their 1-0 away win against Bournemouth in the Premier League.

The Blues played in the late kick off match on a Saturday night, and they were looking very sluggish and lacklustre through most of the game.

EXCL! Clealake could now sell stake in Chelsea, leaving it to Todd Boehly!!

It ended well though after a late Christopher Nkunku winner, and Chelsea managed to come away with all three points in a game that they could have easily lost.

Bournemouth will feel hard done by to get nothing, but a massive reason for that was Robert Sanchez in the sticks for Chelsea. He mad a strong of world class saves to keep Chelsea in the game at 0-0, and if it wasn’t for that then Chelsea would have easily lost this game.

Sanchez stats say it all

Sanchez made a big penalty save

As reported by Mozo Football, Sanchez had some superb stats from this game.

In this game, Sanchez registered the highest goal prevention ratio (2.28 goals prevented) in a single game than any other goalkeeper so far this season.

He also had:

– 7 successful saves – 1 penalty saved – 6 successful throws – 100% successful punches – 100% successful high-claims – 34/47 successful passes – 6/17 accurate long balls

I’d say it was his best game for Chelsea since he joined from Brighton. He’s taken a lot of criticism lately and rightly so, but last night he was THE Chelsea difference maker and the one who won them this game, make no mistake about that. If not for his saves last night, Chelsea would have come away with a defeat.
