Just as things were getting exciting, we’re into a two week international break… isn’t thatjust typical.

It comes at a strange tine for Chelsea. After getting through the worst run of form we’ve had for maybe 20 years, the team won 3 on the spin and were just minutes away from going into the break on the back of four in a row.

But a soft last minute goal conceded to Everton means the whole thing ended on a slightly sour note, and now these will be two weeks where fans are positive, but not overjoyed.

To keep the non international players busy, Graham Potter revealed yesterday that he was organising an in house friendly. Players like N’Golo Kante – who was included in the match day squad for the first time under Potter at the weekend – will get the chance to play some semi competitive minutes as he is built up for first team action.
