As always after such a big error from the club, fans are looking for a scapegoat and someone to blame, and they are more than entitled to do so in these circumstances.

Some are looking to blame the owner Roman Abramovich, others are pinning their blame elsewhere.

Chelsea joined the European Super League this week, and someone must answer to that.

So is that Roman? Well, you might be wise to direct your anger elsewhere, because according to The Athletic, it was Chairman Bruce Buck who ‘was at the heart’ of the plan to join the Super League, Roman’s trusted advisor.

As we know, the Russian billionaire heavily relies of his close advisors whilst running this football club, and he puts his trust in them to make the right decision, which they did not here, clearly.

Expecting sackings or resignations then? Well no, as you can see The Athletic claim that is not set to happen, as I have quoted above.
