Chelsea, Newcastle and Manchester City are among the Premier League clubs considering a summer move for Juventus teenager Samuel Iling-Junior.

Iling-Junior has impressed since breaking into the Juventus side this season with the England youth international having made 11 appearances across all competitions, in which he has provided two assists.

The 19-year-old previously spent nine seasons in Chelsea’s academy set-up and formed part of the England side which won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship last summer.

Chelsea are among the clubs understood to be monitoring their former academy prospect, while 90min are reporting that Newcastle and Manchester City are also keeping a keen eye on his progress.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are also said to be admirers of the winger, who shone as Juventus reached the UEFA Youth League semi-finals in 2021/22, with 13 goals in 36 appearances.

Iling-Junior recently signed a new contract with Juventus, but the Italian side’s financial situation has offered encouragement to English suitors.

Juventus have been docked 15 points this season for alleged irregularities regarding transfer dealings, leaving the club facing an uphill task to secure Champions League football. The Turin side have lodged an appeal against the verdict.
