According to David Ornstein, Chelsea are currently working on deals involving Romelu Lukaku (31) and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen (25). The newly-appointed Antonio Conte has made it his mission to bring Lukaku to Naples with him this summer.
As the Italian manager desires to work with the striker who he managed for two seasons at Inter Milan, Napoli are left to find a transfer solution for Victor Osimhen. The 25-year-old has been a target for Paris Saint-Germain during the transfer window but the clubs have struggled to find an agreement. PSG have agreed personal terms with the former Lille striker but at present the deal is on stand-by, according to Fabrizio Romano.
If Lukaku and Osimhen were to swap clubs, it is expected that the Chelsea forward join Napoli on a permanent basis. Whereas, the Nigerian international would join the West London club on a season-long loan with an option to buy at the end of the move.
