Chelsea midfielder Kovacic hungry for more trophies ahead of Super Cup final

Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic wants to win even more trophies this season.

The Croatian was part of the side that lifted the Champions League after defeating Manchester City in the final in May.

As the new Premier League season approaches, Kovacic has highlighted his ambitions.

He and the rest of the Chelsea squad are preparing for the UEFA Super Cup against Villarreal on Wednesday.

"This club is about winning, about winning titles," Kovacic stated before training to reporters.

"We are here to do that and tomorrow we have the first opportunity to lift a trophy.

"We will do everything to be on our highest level, to compete against a great opponent, and to win our first game of the season."
