Chelsea have confirmed that midfielder N’Golo Kanté will be sidelined for up to four months after having surgery on his hamstring.
The France international had been struggling with fitness and speaking earlier this week manager Graham Potter admitted that the injury wasn’t “good news”.
Today Chelsea confirmed that the 31-year-old has undergone surgery to repair the damage in his hamstring and will now begin rehabilitation.
This news comes as a blow for France as well, as Kanté will now miss the Qatar World Cup.
