Italy failed to qualify for Qatar 2022, despite winning the Euros last year.

"It is ridiculous that you are not automatically qualified for the WC when you have won the EC," Jorginho told Globo Esporte.
"For God's sake call FIFA and UEFA and get an explanation.
"It may be that it makes me even angrier because we didn't qualify for the World Cup, but it's bull***t that you have to go through a new qualification when you've worked hard to win a tournament."
