As Mason Mount drifts towards a surprising and disappointing exit from Chelsea, chatter is starting to build up about who might replace him.

One name suggested today in a new report from ESPN is Andreas Pereira. The attacking midfielder has been brilliant for Fulham this season, and a big part of their superb campaign under Marco Silva. He has 2 goals and 6 assists in the Premier League this season.

The American outlet says his great form has also attracted the attentions of Atletico Madrid and PSG, so we may well end up in a serious bidding war. This piece values the Brazil international at between £25m and £35m, but a lot would depend on how serious the interest from those other teams is. Fulham signed him for little over £10m in the summer.

Pereira looks a good player, but most Blues fans would certainly prefer to keep Mount if that was an option.
