Chelsea linked with 22 year old who could be Malo Gusto equivalent on the left | OneFootball

We love a fresh transfer link, and we’ve certainly got one of those today.

Chelsea are today being linked by Caughtoffside with Rayan Ait Nouri, the Wolves defender who has been around for a while, gradually establishing himself as one of the league’s most talented young players.

Still just 22, Ait Nouri will be looking to further his career and move on from Wolves at some point, and Chelsea could provide the perfect platform. He’s able to play at left back or left centre back, and that’s the sort of versatility we’re looking for. Ben Chilwell looks like he’s going to be forever in and out of the team with injuries, and a really good alternative who doesn’t cost the moon is just what the doctor ordered.

Ait Nouri could be the Malo Gusto equivalent for the left hand side – young and talented and with room to improve, but understanding that they’re second choice when their often injured first choice is available.

Liverpool are also apparently interested, and we could see something of a bidding war developing.
