A Chelsea legend has been spotted donning the newly launched away kit this morning, and Blues fans would be happy for him to play Monday!

There is a lot going on this week in the aftermath of the first summer transfer window closing on Tuesday night ahead of the Club World Cup.

EXCLUSIVE! Mike Maignan to Chelsea is NOT over, Petrovic up for sale, Sanchez available!

Chelsea failed to sign Mike Maignan and Jamie Gittens after being in talks, but there are other situations ongoing right now, such as the future of Trevoh Chalobah, who is wanted by Napoli this summer.

There was also a report out earlier in the week detailing the stats that prove Chelsea should have, and still can, sign Maignan from AC Milan this summer simply because he’s a big upgrade.

CWC kicks off next week

Chelsea’s Club World Cup campaign kicks off on Monday night against Los Angeles FC over in America, and it is another chance for The Blues to pick up some silverware.

It’s a tough competition though with some top quality teams playing in it, maybe Chelsea could use some help from a legend and former player!?

Didier Drogba in Chelsea away kit

Chelsea launched their new away kit officially today on their website, and as you can see above, legend of the game Didier Drogba was hauled in to model the new kit.

I am sure that many Chelsea fans would even be happy to see Drogba come back into the squad and start on Monday even at the age of 47!

I’m adamant that he could still do a job, maybe not for an entire game, but give him ten minutes and see what he can do!

I’m very much joking, of course, this is all just very tongue in cheek!
