

Chelsea keeper Mendy thanks Petr Cech after recent departure

Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has thanked Petr Cech following his departure from the club.
The former Blues goalkeeper left his role as technical and performance advisor this week.
After working with Cech since arriving at Chelsea in September 2020, Mendy sent a heartfelt farewell message on social media.
He tweeted: "I want to thank you for all the moments, all the trainings and all the learnings we have shared together. Thank you for your trust.
"I wish you a brilliant future in your upcoming challenges."
