Chelsea are the latest club to have reportedly joined the race to sign Roma goalkeeper Alisson.

The Brazil international was one of the stand out shot-stoppers in Europe last term and has been linked with a host of top European sides.

Real Madrid and Liverpool were the two most widely thought to be keen on landing the 25-year-old, however Gazzetta dello Sport believe that the west London side are also interested.

They report that should current number one Thibaut Courtois leave this summer, then Alisson is their first choice to come in.

Courtois has admitted on several occasions that he is thinking about departing Stamford Bridge, with Paris Saint-Germain a viable option.

And should that be the case during this window, the Blues have highlighted the South American as the perfect incumbent.

Roma however, won’t let him leave on the cheap – they value the former Internacional man at around the €80m mark.
