Chelsea have joined Paris Saint-Germain in the race to sign Inter defender Milan Skriniar.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Premier League side are very keen on the 27-year-old and are pushing to sign him ahead of the Parisians.
PSG have been working to try and convince Inter on a deal for Skriniar, but so far have not been able to get close to signing him, while an improved offer is expected from the French side.
However, Chelsea are also strongly interested in the Slovakian, having already inquired about including him in talks for Romelu Lukaku, and they are ready to step up their interest in him.
The Nerazzurri could be hoping that both clubs step up their interest in Skriniar so that a bidding war emerges for the defender and his value goes up for whichever of the pair wins the race to sign him.
