Chelsea inform Kepa he can leave on-loan

Chelsea have told agents for Kepa Arrizabalaga to find him a new club for the January market.

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported Chelsea have told Kepa's minders he can leave on-loan for the second-half of the season.

Kepa has lost his first-choice status this term to summer signing Edouard Mendy and as such his place in Spain's Euros squad is under threat.

While buyers are thin on the ground, Chelsea are happy for the former Athletic Bilbao keeper to secure a loan deal for himself.

Chelsea see the move as a way to maintain Kepa's value in the transfer market with the aim of selling him in June.
