Chelsea have emerging Bundesliga left back on their transfer target list | OneFootball

Christian Falk of Bild is without doubt one of the top transfer insiders around.

He has a very annoying manner, at least on Twitter, but it’s hard to deny he knows what he’s talking about, especially when it comes to German football.

When he mentions Chelsea we tend to listen, and the Blues have popped up in his despatches today.

He confirms the whispers we’ve heard earlier today about interest in Marcos Alonso from Barcelona, but adds some much juicier details to that.

He says that Chelsea are already on the case chasing Borna Sosa from Suttgart as a potential replacement, with the left back on their “transfer list” of potential replacements.

Sosa has been attracting increasing attention from all manner of clubs after breaking out as one of the Bundesliga’s best players in that position.

Chelsea will have Ben Chilwell back next season, and Sosa may not want to commit himself to being a backup – but this season proved that every backup is just one injury away from being a regular.
