The Swedish international has won every domestic honour with Chelsea in her two years with the club including back-to-back league titles. She will now be hoping to add to her personal collection of silverware after committing her long-term future to Emma Hayes’ side.

After signing her new deal with the South West Londoners, Mušović said “Coming to Chelsea was one of my best decisions. I am really thankful for the time I’ve had here so far. I’ve been able to work with the best coaches in the world – the goalkeeping coach, and Emma and her team. I really enjoy working with them and to play with the players I have around me, the people I have around me.

“I feel like this is my family here in England so I’m really pleased with the time I’ve had here so far. I feel like this is just the start and the best is yet to come. I’m really excited to see how far we can go as a team, but also me individually.”

Mušović will now have her sights firmly set upon making the number one goalkeeping position her own in her next two-and-a-half years with The Blues.
