Chelsea have been given a massive boost in their attempts to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli in the remaining days of the summer transfer window this week.

There’s been so much said and reported on this story, with a lot of noise coming from the camp of Paris Saint-Germain as well, who have been credited with being interested in Osimhen.

Chelsea are there and are seemingly still pushing to sign the striker in these last few days of the window, but competition from PSG is obviously going to concern Chelsea fans right up until the end.

However, according to one report last night, they needn’t worry about PSG.

PSG will NOT be signing Osimhen

According to a report from French outlet La Parisien, PSG will NOT be signing Victor Osimhen!

And with reports that Osimhen does not want to go to Saudi, and no other serious reports of any other clubs about to make a move to sign him, then this is clearly a massive boost for Chelsea’s chances of signing him.

It of course does not mean that he will definitely be joining Chelsea this window, but without PSG in the race, if this report is true of course, then that is big news in this big story.

Chelsea will seemingly have a lot to do still this week to land their new number 9, so we will just have to wait and see now if they can pull it off and bring Osimhen in before the window closes.
