Chelsea fullback Reece James admits he's determined to end his Wembley drought.

James has a Champions League title to his name at a relatively young age and the scope for more has been there but losses in the FA Cup finals against Leicester City and Liverpool coupled with Carabao Cup defeats to the Reds and Man City has meant that four potential more successes have slipped throughs. Amid talk of a so-called Wembley curse, James has insisted that the trend itself needs to be corrected under Potter.

"The last few years have been good, but we've been to finals where we've lost as well," he said.

"We want to win every competition we enter, and if we get to the final, there's no reason why we shouldn't be going all the way. There have been a few where we've got there, but there have also been a few domestic trophies that we haven't picked up, which needs to change."
