The Chelsea takeover is now just an official announcement away from being fully done and confirmed.

All the checks have been done, the Premier League, the UK Government, and the European Union have all signed the deal off and confirmed Todd Boehly’s consortium as the new owners. But seemingly Chelsea as ever, are just being slow with the announcement. Let’s hope it’s a big one!

Boehly and his consortium are getting a huge opportunity and a business that will grow and gain in worth over time, according to The Financial Times this morning.

They claim that with the stadium rebuild, and all the marketing opportunities and growth expected, Chelsea Football Club will be worth US$10bn within five years. That’s quite some thought!
