Chelsea face nervous wait for Kante injury prognosis

Chelsea will learn more about French midfielder N'Golo Kante's hamstring injury in the coming days.

The Blues have scheduled a scan for Kante, which may reveal the true extent of the damage.

The diminutive midfielder came off during their pulsating 2-2 draw against Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday.

Speaking about the injury post-game, manager Thomas Tuchel said: "Seems like another muscle injury and a hamstring.

"He said he feels it pretty strong, so no good news."

Kante missed large stretches of last season with various injury problems as well.
