Chelsea will make a move for Fernando Llorente during this transfer window, as manager Antonio Conte looks to solve his striking dilemmas.
The Stamford Bridge outfit tried to sign the Spanish striker during the summer, but were outbid by Tottenham at the last minute.
Conte is desperate to reunite with his former Juventus player however, and will try and test Spurs’ resolve by making an approach within the next two weeks.
The Independent are claiming that the Italian tactician has not been convinced by Michy Batshuayi – who will be allowed to leave on loan.
And the Blues see Llorente as the ideal back-up forward to Álvaro Morata, who has seen the goals dry up in recent months after a blistering start to life in England.
Andy Carroll is another player being tracked by the west London side, but his £35m asking price is unsurprisingly proving a problem.
