Huijsen has impressed in the Premier League with strong performances, earning praise and drawing interest from top clubs. If PSG decides to pursue him, the club will likely face stiff competition, and any suitor may need to meet a high asking price.

Chelsea want two defenders to bolster the backline?

Initially, SPORT reported that Chelsea are reportedly considering a move for Jules Kounde, with the Barcelona defender seen as an alternative to Huijsen. However, now The Sun reports that the Blues want both defenders.

Chelsea have rekindled their transfer interest in signing Barcelona’s Kounde and also want Huijsen this summer. These moves would allow the Blues to massively overhaul their backline.

TEAMtalk previously reported, citing sources, that Newcastle have made Huijsen their top target for the summer transfer window, though another club is currently ahead in the race for his signature.

Furthermore, the report mentions that the Magpies have contacted Huijsen’s agents to express interest in signing him. Newcastle view the 19-year-old center-back as a great addition due to his relatively low cost, with a £50 million release clause in his Bournemouth contract.
