Maresca travels to face his old side Leicester this weekend
Enzo Maresca has suggested Cole Palmer and Joao Felix playing together for Chelsea “could be a target for the future.”
The two attackers have yet to start a game together for the Blues, with Palmer left out of the Europa League squad for the early stages, and Felix only being afforded five substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this season.
However, Felix has scored four goals in his last two European outings, and also netted for Portugal in their 1-1 draw with Croatia on Monday night, and his manager praised him before stating he could soon be in his first-choice side.
"Yeah, this (playing Palmer and Felix together) could be a target for the future; to see both of them playing together. International break is good, first of all for the ones that don't go with their international teams so they can recover and for the ones that do go, some of them, like Joao, did fantastic.

"But Joao is doing well with us since day one. The only problem is trying to find balance when we are trying to prepare the game. For us, for all of the clubs, there is always a little bit of doubt because we do not know how they are going to come back.”
Chelsea travel to the King Power stadium to face Maresca’s former side Leicester City in the early kick-off on Saturday looking to consolidate their spot in the top four.
