Chelsea defender Zouma wins France call-up

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has earned a call up to the French national team.

The center back has been in good form with the Blues this season, impressing alongside Thiago Silva in their last game before the break.

Now he is being asked to join Didier Deschamps' Les Blues squad, after Dayot Upamecano suffered an illness.

Zouma has played five times for France, with his most recent appearance coming in June 2019 against Andorra in a 4-0 win.

France faces Portugal and Croatia in the UEFA Nations League in the coming week, and Zouma will be hoping to play in at least one of those games.
