FAWSL Full-Time were informed of the news this morning via an official club press release from The Blues.
The 28-year-old joined Chelsea from Doncaster Rovers Belles ahead of the 2015 FA Women’s Super League 1 season therefore her new deal will see her celebrate a decade of service with the South West Londoners.
Bright has won no less than 13 trophies with Chelsea including five league titles. Last season saw the defender become just the third player to make her 200th appearance for the club in all competitions. She became the first player in the club’s history to make 200 starts.

After signing on again with Chelsea, Bright said “Chelsea, the fans, the club, the people. Thank you for all your support so far.
“You’re my home and I can’t wait to continue fighting for more trophies. Cheers to the future!”
Bright joins Jess Carter, Maren Mjelde and youngster Emma Thompson in signing a new deal with The Blues during the close season.
