Chelsea clinched the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup title on Sunday, overpowering Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 in the final at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford. This victory crowns the Blues as the inaugural champions under the tournament's new format, with a massive jackpot as their reward.

The Blues delivered a sensational performance against the reigning European champions. PSG, despite being favorites, completely missed their mark in the final and failed to achieve their dream of a quintuple, having already won the Champions League back in May. Cole Palmer netted a brace for the Blues, with Joao Pedro adding a third—all before the halftime whistle.

Beyond the sporting glory, this triumph brings Chelsea an extraordinary financial windfall. The club began accumulating revenue from the group stage: three wins netted them €3.6 million, on top of a €25.7 million participation bonus. As they advanced, the Londoners earned €6.5 million in the round of 16, €11.4 million in the quarterfinals, €18 million in the semifinals, €25.6 million for reaching the final, and finally €34.6 million for their ultimate victory. In total, the Stamford Bridge club will receive €124 million—a record sum in the history of the competition.
