Jamie Gittens’ proposed move to Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund could be completed imminently.
As reported by David Ornstein, both clubs have continued talks during the Club World Cup, with hope that a deal is agreed soon.
Gittens is said to be fully committed to joining the Blues despite interest from German champions Bayern Munich. He is set to sign a seven-year deal.
Arsenal have expressed an interest in signing Paris-Saint Germain forward Bradley Barcola this summer, according to L’Equipe.
The 22-year-old who is also of interest from Liverpool and Bayern Munich, has fallen down the pecking order following the January signing of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and emergence of Desire Doue.
Elsewhere, Talksport report that Tottenham will turn their attentions to Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze as they start to lose ground on signing Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo following Manchester United’s £60m bid for the Cameroonian.
The 26-year-old England international is said to have a £68m release clause that kicked in at the end of the season.
Gazzetta dello Sport say Manchester United are set be offered Juventus pair Dusan Vlahvoic and Douglas Luiz as part of the deal for the Italian giants to sign Jadon Sancho this summer.
United had reportedly shown an interest in signing former Aston Villa midfielder Luiz during the January transfer window.
Newcastle United are in talks with fellow Premier League side Burnley over the transfer of their goalkeeper James Trafford reports Fabrizio Romano.
After failing last summer, the Magpies are looking secure the 22-year-old’s signature, in a deal that could rise to £40m.
The Guardian also say Eddie Howe’s side are ready to sell either Sean Longstaff or Joe Willock this window but not Alexander Isak, who is on Liverpool’s radar.
The club are expected to offer the Swedish striker a lucrative new deal, with his current one due to expire in 2028.
Finally, ESPN report that Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal worth £19m with Juventus for the double signing of Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula, with a move unlikely to be completed until personal terms are agreed with both players.
