Chelsea have bought a new bit of land that could lead to a further redevelopment expansion.
The new owners have some big plans for the squad, the club from top to bottom, and also the stadium and other redevelopment opportunities.
According to The Guardian, Chelsea have bought land opposite the entrance to their training ground in Cobham.
They also report that Chelsea have jumped at the chance to buy land next to their Surrey training ground after it became available. They have not submitted any planning permission and it is unclear whether they intend to expand their training site. Chelsea moved to Cobham in 2005.
This will be as well as the proposed redevelopment of Stamford Bridge, but it is still unclear as to what the plans are there.
The report says the potential redevelopment of Stamford Bridge could run into complications after a military veteran lodged an interim court injunction against a proposal to sell a crucial piece of land next to the ground.
