Chelsea boss Lampard sympathises with Mourinho over Tottenham fixtures
Tribal Football
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has a lot of sympathy for his opposite number at Tottenham - Jose Mourinho.
The Blues will have two more days to prepare for Sunday's London derby with Spurs due to differing Champions League and Europa League commitments.
And the Englishman believes Mourinho is right to complain about his club's fixture congestion this term.
Lampard told reporters: "Yes [I am sympathetic].
"I'm not sure what team Jose can pick for Thursday.
"He's got a strong squad and he can make rotations.
"But if you're not going to get up ready to attack a London derby, then you shouldn't be in this game."
