Chelsea: Boehly move for 208-goal duo 'plausible' at Stamford Bridge
GiveMeSport
Chelsea signing both Raheem Sterling and Ousmane Dembele this summer is “plausible”, says transfer insider Dean Jones.
The west London club have been linked with the Manchester City and Barcelona stars, and Jones is not ruling out new owner Todd Boehly delivering the two attackers to manager Thomas Tuchel.
Last weekend, the reliable Gianluca Di Marzio reported that Chelsea were confident of signing Sterling in a potential £35m deal.
Since then, it has emerged that the England international is likely to cost way more than that, but the Blues certainly do look to be interested in him.
As well as Sterling, Chelsea are also thought to have Dembele on their radar, with the Frenchman out of contract at the end of the month.
According to The Sun, Dembele is wanted by Tuchel and is ready to reunite with his former manager at Stamford Bridge if he is given reassurances over playing time.

If Chelsea sell two attackers already at the club this summer, Jones thinks the former European champions bringing in a couple of new ones like Sterling and Dembele is possible.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the journalist said: “If two leave, then you imagine two spots open up, so whether that’s Raheem Sterling, Ousmane Dembele, both potentially, I think it’s plausible, and I think that it’s really interesting to now look at how Chelsea look to get more goals in their team.
“Raheem Sterling, he does have a pretty good goal output for somebody who’s not an actual centre-forward, and I think that’s potentially something they’re looking at here.”
Romelu Lukaku is set to return to Inter Milan in this transfer window, so that is already one name.
In terms of who could follow the Belgian out of the exit door, Hakim Ziyech is one person who can definitely not be ruled out.
According to The Athletic, the former Ajax star has not enjoyed a productive relationship with Tuchel, while he has also not always been a starter under the German.
The same outlet also states that there is currently no prospect of Christian Pulisic signing a new contract after being handed an impact substitute role by his manager.
The USA international has just two years to run on his current deal, possibly giving Chelsea a decision to make this summer if he does not put pen to paper on an extension.
