Chelsea have received a set back in their pursuit of Theo Hernandez from AC Milan.

The left-back was a target for the Blues for the summer, as they look to provide long-term competition to Ben Chilwell in that position.

However, TuttoMercatoWeb state that Hernandez is very close to renewing his contract with Milan.

That deal will take him to 2026, and he will double his salary as well.

Hernandez is happy with life in Milan and with his team, and may not be tempted by a move to the Premier League at this stage of his career.
