Chelsea are talking to Leeds about Raphinha deal | OneFootball

Chelsea are one of four Premier League clubs “talking to” Leeds United about Raphinha, according to a story today from CaughtOffside.

They claim to know from “senior sources” that Leeds are happy to sell the winger so that they can spend the money on reinforcing elsewhere.

They’re in a great spot to earn serious money for him, with Chelsea joining Tottenham, Arsenal and now Newcastle in a bidding war for the Brazil international.

That spells bad news for Chelsea, who probably also want to sell off some of their assets before they start spending.

In Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic they have three relatively valuable players who they would happily sell if a decent offer comes in, and most fans would consider Raphinha an upgrade on all of them.

Whether we have time to conduct those sales before one of our three rivals swoops in for the winger is much less certain.
