As reported by Kicker, Premier League side Chelsea are looking to sign Stuttgart winger Chris Führich this summer.
This season, Stuttgart have continued to impress on a weekly basis. From relegation play-off winners last season to Champions League football this campaign, it has been a whirlwind twelve months for the five-time German champions.
One player they can thank for their remarkable turnaround is Führich, who is enjoying the season of his life this campaign. With 16 goal contributions in 36 games, the 26-year-old has been a key asset for Sebastian Hoeneß’s side this season.
However, his form has attracted interest from many of Germany’s big clubs. Despite links to RB Leipzig and Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen, it is understood that Führich would prefer a move to Bayern Munich.
Nevertheless, could the prospect of Premier League football tempt the German international away from Bavaria? As stated in the report, Chelsea are considering a move for Führich, but they would have to part ways with a significant sum of cash.
Having only recently signed a new deal for Stuttgart, Führich’s contract for the Swabian outfit is not set to expire until 2028. Therefore, if he were to leave in the summer, Stuttgart would be looking to generate between €25 million and €30 million for his services.
