Chelsea announce friendly against Dutch club Feyenoord | OneFootball

Chelsea have announced the news that they will face Dutch Azerion Vrouwen Eredivisie club Feyenoord in a pre-season friendly at Kingsmeadow next month.

The Blues revealed the latest addition to their pre-season schedule via a post on their official club website yesterday afternoon.

Chelsea will face Feyenoord at their Kingsmeadow home on Saturday 7 September 2024 with the game set to kick-off at 12pm. The fixture will provide new Blues boss Sonia Bompastor with her first opportunity to witness a home matchday.

Bompastor’s new-look Chelsea side will go Stateside later this month as they begin their preparations for the new Barclays Women’s Super League season. The South West Londoners will face National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club NJ/NY Gotham FC and London rivals Arsenal during their time in the United States. The Blues will take on NJ/NY Gotham FC at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey on Tuesday 20 August 2024 before facing Arsenal at Audi Field, Washington D.C. five days’ later. Chelsea will then return to the UK to complete their pre-season preparations.

Tickets for the Feyenoord fixture are on-sale specifically to Chelsea season ticket holders until 10am on Tuesday morning. Season ticket holders have until 10am on Monday to reserve their usual seats. General sale will commence at 10am on Tuesday morning.
