Chelsea and AC Milan in “direct contact” over Ziyech move

Chelsea always looked likely to be selling one of their wingers this summer, and as it stands there is one clear front runner.

Christian Pulisic and Timo Werner both seem like they could go at the right price, but it’s Hakim Ziyech who is closest to the door.

Fabrizio Romano has today backed up reports from elsewhere earlier in the week that the Moroccan international is in talks with AC Milan.

The Italian club are keen on bringing in a creative influence, and having just won Serie A they have more money to spend than usual.

Ziyech wouldn’t set them back a crazy amount, and in fact he might end up being quite the bargain if Chelsea are keen to get rid and he does well in Italy.

As Romano says, they need to work out the “final formula” for the transfer, but all looks pretty promising for us from here.
