Chelsea aim to thrash Fulham while keeping one eye on London rivals

Chelsea will seek to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League when they host Fulham at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The Blues recorded their first victory of the season last Friday, beating West Ham United at the London Stadium after Crystal Palace held them to a goalless draw in their opening game.
London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have started the season better, with both getting maximum points in their opening games.
While it is still very early in the season, Chelsea cannot afford to lose any further ground. Enzo Maresca’s side lost to Fulham at home last term, and they will be gunning for revenge this weekend.
With Fulham’s engagement in the League Cup on Wednesday, Chelsea will be more refreshed for this clash.
The Cottagers drew their opening two league games, but showed against Manchester United that they are a formidable side. Alex Iwobi, Kenny Tete and Rodrigo Muniz could cause Chelsea problems.
Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez must help Chelsea control proceedings, and Joao Pedro needs to be sharp in the final third.
Pedro Neto and Trevoh Chalobah’s performances could also swing the game in favour of Maresca’s side.
Youngster Estevao may play a crucial role with his speed and directness in the absence of the injured Cole Palmer. His battle with Ryan Sessegnon on the left flank will be fascinating.
Beating Fulham is vital for Chelsea to keep in close contact with their London rivals and help them build momentum heading into the first international break of the season.
