Chelsea agree terms with PSV to sign Noni Madueke | OneFootball

Chelsea have agreed terms with PSV Eindhoven for winger, Noni Madueke, in a deal expected to be worth £30M. (The Athletic)

The 20-year-old left-footed winger has scored 11 goals in 51 league appearances for the Dutch side and has previously represented Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace at youth level.

Madueke primarily plays on the right side which has been an area of the field Chelsea have needed to strengthen with Hakim Ziyech struggling to make a mark this term.

It is highly unlikely Madueke’s pending arrival will commence in time for Chelsea’s fixture against Liverpool on Saturday however he could make his debut against Fulham at Stamford Bridge on the 3rd of February.

Graham Potter’s side currently sit 10th in the Premier League and the need for more goals is apparent. Chelsea have scored 22 goals this season which would place them 12th in a table consisting of most goals scored.
