Golovin has turned down an offer from Ligue 1 giants Monaco while Juventus decided against making a move.

New Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has already started bolstering his midfielder ranks, taking Jorginho with him to west London from Napoli.

Golovin, who impressed in this summer’s World Cup with his quick feet, has scored 13 goals in 113 appearances for CSKA after making his debut in 2014.
