Chelsea and Tottenham, who rarely do business with each other, have come to an agreement this month over the sale of Jude Soonsup-Bell.

The 19-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and it was clear his time at the club was coming to an end, with it looking likely he’d leave on a free transfer.

However, Chelsea look set to receive a transfer fee for the striker with a deal now in place with London rivals Spurs.

As reported by Nizaar Kinsella, a deal has been agreed between the clubs for the teenager this month ahead of Tuesday’s deadline.

Soonsup-Bell will complete his medical before putting pen to paper on his new deal in north London.

Tottenham look to have beaten Man City, who were interested, to the signing of the forward after ‘offering him a long-term pathway to the first-team via loans from next season.’

Soonsup-Bell is set to undergo his medical ahead of the move to Hotspur Way, according to Alasdair Gold.

It’s set to be a busy end to the January window for Chelsea, who have completed seven signings for Graham Potter this month, including the arrivals of Joao Felix (loan), Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and Malo Gusto.

Gusto expressed his delight at signing for the Blues on Sunday which sees him return to Lyon on loan until the end of the season as part of the £30 million deal.

“I chose Chelsea because it’s a very big club and I very like the project. Very happy to be here. See you soon.”

A deal is being worked on for Enzo Fernandez of Benfica as Chelsea officials ready themselves to fly to Portugal should talks progress in the next 24 hours for the 22-year-old, according to reports in England.
