Southampton striker Che Adams has revealed his long-time admiration for new Saints team-mate Theo Walcott.
The 31-year-old delivered a match-tying assist in the dying embers of Southampton’s 3-3 draw with Chelsea, which has brought massive praise his way.
“When I was growing up, I used to like Arsenal as a team and obviously seeing him come through, he was an incredible player,” Adams said of Walcott.
“It is good to learn from these sort of people get as much experience as I can from him.
“I think he ran the most [against Chelsea], and he is a great addition to the team and he is a good guy to have around the place as well.”
Southampton will attempt to continue their decent start to the season when they take on Everton on Sunday.
