Senegal's local team will face Uganda on July 24 and Tanzania on July 27 as part of their preparations for CHAN 2024. Both matches will be broadcast on the CECAFA ONLINE YouTube channel.

Senegal’s home-based Lions are ramping up their preparations with just days to go before the kick-off of the African Nations Championship. As defending champions, they are taking part in a CECAFA-organized mini-tournament alongside the two host nations: Uganda and Tanzania. This tournament, held from July 21 to 27 in Karatu, Tanzania, gives Souleymane Diallo the perfect opportunity to fine-tune his tactical plans and assess the current form of his squad.

Ahead of this event, Senegal played two friendlies against Guinea at the start of July. After a goalless draw (0-0) in the first encounter, the Lions clinched the second test (1-0) thanks to a strike from Christian Gomis. This victory allowed the coach to conduct a thorough squad review and strengthen team cohesion.
