The vote for the Championship Player of the Season award is now open, with six of the division’s standout performers making the shortlist.

Nominated for the 2021/22 award are Huddersfield Town goalkeeper Lee Nicholls, Nottingham Forest defender Djed Spence, Sheffield United midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White, Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, Bournemouth forward Dom Solanke, and Bristol City attacker Andreas Weimann.

There’s plenty of talent on the shortlist and all six would be deserving winners for different reasons.
