Champions League last 16: Who is through? Who can join them and how? | OneFootball

After a hectic few months, the Champions League group stages are finally coming to a close. And there are still some places in the last 16 up for grabs.

Here’s everything still to play for on the final matchday.

Group A

Bayern Munich are through as group winners.

Atlético Madrid will qualify if they avoid defeat against RB  Salzburg.

RB Salzburg will qualify if they beat Atlético Madrid.

Lokomotiv Moscow cannot go through but will finish third and qualify for the Europa League if they beat Bayern and RB Salzburg fail to beat Atlético Madrid.

Group B

Borussia Mönchengladbach will qualify if they avoid defeat against Real Madrid or if they lose and Inter draw with Shakhtar.

Shakhtar Donetsk will qualify if they win against Inter. They can also go through with a draw if Real Madrid fail to beat Gladbach.

Real Madrid will qualify if they beat Gladbach or if they draw and Inter beat Shakhtar.

Inter will qualify if they beat Shakhtar and Madrid-Gladbach doesn’t end in a draw.

Group C

Manchester City are through as group winners.

Porto are through as runners-up.

Marseille (v Man City) can only leapfrog Olympiacos (v Porto) to finish third and qualify for the Europa League if they better the Greek club’s result on matchday six.

Group D

Liverpool are through as group winners.

Atalanta will qualify if they avoid defeat against Ajax.

Ajax will qualify if they beat Atalanta.

FC Midjylland will finish bottom of the group.

Group E

Chelsea are through as group winners, Sevilla are through as runners up.

Krasnodar finished third and drop into the Europa League. Rennes are out of Europe.

Group F

Borussia Dortmund are through as group winners, Lazio are through as runners up.

Club  Brugge finished third and drop into the Europa League. Zenit St Petersburg are out of Europe.

Group G

Juventus are through as group winners, Barcelona are through as runners up.

Dynamo Kiev finished third and drop into the Europa League. Ferencvaros are out of Europe.

Group H

RB Leipzig are through and will win the group if PSG fail to beat Istanbul Basaksehir on Wednesday.

PSG will win the group if they win that game.

Manchester United will finish third and drop into the Europa League.
