Lazio travel to Bavaria with a slim advantage as they prepare for a tense battle with Bayern Munich in the second leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie.

The match between the Bundesliga giants and the Biancocelesti kicks off at 20.00 UK time at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Lazio pulled off the impossible in their first meeting with Bayern last month, edging out a 1-0 win after a 69th minute penalty from club captain Ciro Immobile, an unexpected result that has pilled pressure on Thomas Tuchel and his squad in Germany.

In the meantime, Bayern have started to lose steam in the Bundesliga title race and now sit 10 points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen. Some reports suggest losing to the Biancocelesti could spell the end of Tuchel’s time in the dugout.

The Bavarian giants have a number of injuries to contend with heading into the match, unable to count on Daniel Peretz, Tarek Buchmann, Noussair Mazraoui, Sacha Boey, Bouna Sarr and Kingsley Coman.

Lazio are in a healthier state, only having to do without the injured Patric and Nicolo Rovella.

Bayern Munich (4-2-3-1): Neuer; Mazraoui, de Ligt, Kim, Davies; Kimmich, Goretzka; Sané, Muller, Musiala; Kane.
